Enact

  • Develop programs similar to SB 5749 which create opportunity zones within distressed or underutilized commercial centers to develop high density housing of the lot owners choice.

  • Re-enact advisory voting on new taxes as were repealed under SB 5082.

  • Establish categorical spending requirements associated with tax revenue, rather than sending ~50% to the general fund.

  • Establish price transparency mandates for healthcare service providers which require that providers provide public rate sheets for common procedures and labor hours.

  • Expand right to repair laws within Washington State which guarantee purchasers full access to the hardware or equipment in their possession, and ensure proper tools and information will be made available to them for repairs.

  • Create an affirmative defense through disclaimer for businesses who occupy historic buildings and are barred by localities from bringing systems and structures up to current safety code.

  • Establish a uniform sunset process for legislation to expire on a 50 year cycle unless re-enacted.

  • Establish a pre-nuptial process which allows consenting adults to define their own marriage and relationship systems, rather than having marriage be defined exclusively by the state.

  • Establish processes for the state to adopt multi-winner ranked-choice voting systems.

  • Commission a study to identify which mountains within our boarders would be ideal to tap for geothermal energy.

Reform

  • Create affordable housing exemptions within the existing energy code in a manner similar to SB 5747.

  • Create exemptions to the existing state sales tax for essentials such as affordable housing, prepared food, and childcare supplies.

  • Reform the command and control cap and trade program on carbon emissions to a fixed carbon tax, with revenue distributed to the people instead of politicians (similar to Alaska).

  • HB 1696 which granted taxpayer funded down payment loan forgiveness to certain “non-white” individuals of up to 20% down on a house. This should have been an equity sharing program that would have cost taxpayers nothing and could have eventually been a colorblind policy after a few generations.

  • Establish representation requirements on the building codes council that ensures a significant portion of the council is made up of people who are obligated to consider consumer welfare and cost efficiency when adopting codes.

  • The “Mask Ban” under SB 5855 should criminalize masked arrests rather than create a dubious private right of action to sue an agent that violates your rights (it is difficult to sue someone if you can’t identify who they are).

  • HB 1321 which prevents other states national guards from entering our state, should have also protected Washington’s guard from deployment abroad without a formal declaration of war from congress.

  • To be continued

Repeal

  • Repeal the state income tax contemplated under SB 6346.

  • End qualified immunity for state actors and require officials to acquire umbrella liability insurance. This creates a shared incentive among all state agents to ensure their legislation and actions are constitutionally legal or their premiums rise. Moreover, it creates a mechanism for those harmed by illicit state action to receive relief at the expense of state agents rather than taxpayers.

  • Repeal HB 1296 which undermined the voter approved parents rights initiative 2081.

  • Repeal SB 5925 and HB 2156 which grants the attorney generals office sweeping authority over private information in violation of our 4th amendment rights.

  • Repeal SB 5974 which allows bureaucrats to fire our elected sheriffs.

  • ‍Repeal HB 1240 (2024) which banned certain firearms from sale within Washington state.

  • Repeal the certificate of need, which allows the state to decide when a healthcare provider may open or not.

  • Repeal certain monopoly protections for utility providers which prevent private land owners from selling energy generated by private solar panels.

  • Repeal SB 5375 which compelled clergy to violate the seal of confession.

  • End and ban the use of Flock camera’s throughout Washington State.

  • To be continued
